Tweedle, a fiber studio, to Launch!

After decades studying fiber arts in my spare time, I have decided to launch my very own fiber arts business. Tweedle specializes in hand-dyed luxury fibers for spinning, hand-spun yarn for knitting and weaving, and hand woven garments and home goods. I am really excited about this new venture!

Since choosing the name, several people have commented to me how clever it is -- because it incorporates tweed (as in the fabric) and needles (as in what you knit with). Fact is, Tweedle has been my 82 year-old mother's nickname since she was about 10 minutes old, and I simply wanted to recognize her with the name.

The logo was designed by the talented Betsy Lescosky Way.

In the coming weeks, I will post my progress on the business plan and perhaps images of the products I will sell. I hope you like what you see!
